You have no idea just how many pool chemicals and spa chemical brands are out there. Wow. There are well over 100!
We've visited a few different dealers and are consistently impressed by how many different lines they carry. Our shelves aren't big enough yet to carry 10-12 lines like some of the bigger stores, so we've had to really take our time researching who want to to invest in at this stage of the building process.
Right now we are carrying products from Frog At Ease www.frogproducts.com as well as GLB, and now Natural Chemistry. Our shelves are quickly filling up with pool chemicals! Stop by and see us.
What we liked about Natural Chemistry is that many of their products contain natural enzymes. Those enzymes are like tiny clean up crews that specialize in digesting oily, gunky stuff that normal chlorine isn't great at handling. They don't replace chlorine but they make chlorine's job a lot easier.
Enzymes target organic contaminants, such as sunscreen, body oils and lotions, sweat, cosmetics, hair products, pollen, plant oils, and that gross scum line that forms long the waterline. When these enzymes are working properly it cuts your pool's need for harsh chlorine down and improves your water clarity.
For people who are especially sensitive to chlorine, enzymes are definitely the way to go!
Natural Chemistry has a great product line that we're investing in. Their website is www.naturalchemistry.com if you want to see the products we're stocking.
If you find yourself with really dry skin or irritated eyes after being in your pool, your pool chemicals need to be re-assessed. It can be fixed! Bring us a water sample to test and let's see if we can figure out the best way to get your chlorine usage down naturally.
